If you have broad feet and pumps or peep-toes cause you pain, just tape your third and fourth finger together using a nude medical tape and you are bound to see the difference. (Technical trivia- taping them together reduces the strain on the nerve that is between those two fingers)
2. MAKE YOUR FEET SWEAT-PROOF
Feet sweating causes bad odor and ankle straps start slipping- double whammy! For maintaining the odor the simplest hack is your very own sanitizer, just put it on the soles of your feet and feel fresh as mist all day long!
3. TEA-BAGS: THE SAVIOUR
Who would have thought that used tea bags could also come handy? Just dry your used tea bags and put it in your heels overnight to kill the odor. You and your friend’s nose can thank us later!
4. STRETCH YOUR HEELS
Have wide feet and have to literally stuff them into those beloved heels? Did you know that your blow dryer is truly versatile? Just wear thick woolen socks in your tight pumps. Aim your blow dryer at your problem areas. Flex while you stretch and see the miracle!
5. FREEZE YOUR HEELS
Heels in your freezer may not float everyone’s boat but desperate times call for desperate measures?! Just fill two bags halfway with lukewarm water and seal it well. Put in your heels and freeze overnight. Remove them gently from your shoes next morning and keep it at room temperature for just an hour. Job done!
Last but the not the least, buy a comfortable pair that gives you ample cushion, has a durable anti-skid sole and most importantly fits you well.
